Great effect my friend. Love the colours. The drawiing is OK - I always got hung up about drawing when I was younger as I was never as good as I wanted to be. Some people can draw at the drop of a hat, others have to graft. However, what I have realised that there is more to art than just the drawing itself. There is a great emotional feeling in this picture and I love the way the eyes hold the attention.
Thank you my friend....I'm not very good at drawing ... but always try to do to improve a bit .... this took me like 25 minutes and the face came out of my imagination ... always a challenge to draw and I always end up putting my drawings on my scrapbook here at DA ...I put it this in my scrapbook as well but today I realized I had comments and I put on my main page again....
I also have limited drawing ability. I suppose I would call myself a grafter in that if I put in a lot of effort and concentration I can do something which is OK. Some people can just pick up a pencil and seem to come up with an instant masterpiece. I think we all have our strengths and weaknesses. I think I am quite good with colour so I try to use it to make the actual drawings look better. I think my drawing has improved over time - if I spent a lot of time practicing I would get better, but I just want to get on with my paintings. I think you have a good sense of design and great imagination. Your drawing will improve the more you do, but I think you have quite a few skills you can use and it is always good to be able to vary your work. You also have the benefit of age and I think you have the time to experiment and develop your skills.
